The spike guide provides extra vertical stability for the Link Edge when there is heavier traffic and heavier compacted areas. The spike guide slides into the slot where the fishplate connector slides into. This allows for the spike to go through the guide and then the Link Edge so it will not buckle.
Only suitable for use on the 75mm or 100mm LinkEdge.
